The launch of Relevate Church is less than four months away and we are praying that God continues to guide our steps. We are planning 3 pre-view services and planning on a big marketing campaign starting this month. God has gathered a good team that desires to reach Lawrence and we can’t wait to see what God does through His church.
Not that I know what it feels like but starting this church is kind of like being pregnant. At first it’s a big thrill with lots of anticipation. As the pregnancy continues it brings changes to your entire household, lifestyle and appearance. When the day gets closer you scramble to get everything ready for the arrival of this gift. As we made the jump to move to Lawrence the anticipation and excitement was off the charts. As we made the move it brought all kinds of changes to our lifestyle. As the day of launch gets closer and closer I’m scrambling to get ready for the arrival of Relevate Church. When Wendi was pregnant with Trey she was given a “baby shower” where she received blankets, a stroller, diapers, etc… I’m throwing a shower for Relevate and instead of buying baby stuff I’m asking for people to donate needed items or money to help us purchase these items for the birth of Relevate Church.
